Registered Nurse, Aesthetic Injector

Anieca Perez, RN, is a registered nurse and aesthetic injector at Avant Dermatology & Aesthetics with more than a decade of experience in dermatology, aesthetic medicine, and patient care. Her background combines years of hands-on dermatology experience with advanced nursing training, giving her a comprehensive understanding of both skin health and cosmetic practices.

Before becoming a registered nurse, Anieca spent over twelve years working in dermatology and facial plastic surgery, where she assisted with cosmetic procedures, skin cancer care, in-office surgeries, and comprehensive patient education. She later earned her Associate Degree in Nursing and  Associate of Applied Science in Health Care Administration from Pima Medical Institute and expanded her clinical experience caring for patients in both hospital and outpatient settings, including orthopedic medicine, dermatology, and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Tucson Medical Center.

At Avant Dermatology, Anieca completed more than 300 hours of intensive one-on-one training with fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon and master injector Dr. Sheila Farhang. This advanced mentorship focused on facial anatomy, aesthetic assessment, injection techniques, patient safety, and creating beautiful, natural-looking results. She continues to work closely with Dr. Farhang while pursuing ongoing education in the rapidly evolving field of aesthetic medicine.

Anieca provides personalized injectable treatments including Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, Letybo®, and Daxxify®, as well as consultations for comprehensive facial rejuvenation. She is known for her gentle technique, attention to detail, and conservative approach that helps patients look refreshed while maintaining their natural expressions.

Patients appreciate Anieca’s warm personality, ability to make them feel comfortable, and commitment to taking the time to understand each person’s goals. Whether helping someone maintain a youthful appearance or receiving aesthetic treatment for the first time, she believes every treatment plan should be individualized, honest, and centered around achieving natural, balanced results.

Outside of the office, Anieca enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering in the Tucson community, and continuing to advance her knowledge through aesthetic education and professional development.
