Darlene Van Larkin is an experienced Aesthetician and Certified Laser Technician at Avant Dermatology & Aesthetics, where she has been part of the team for more than two years. With a career spanning over a decade in aesthetics and laser treatments, Darlene brings extensive experience in skin rejuvenation, laser hair removal, IPL, chemical peels, dermaplaning, and advanced aesthetic treatments.

Darlene has trained extensively in laser and aesthetic technologies, including Inmode Morpheus8, Inmode Lumecca, Cutera truBody and CO₂ laser treatments, along with advanced chemical peel and dermaplaning techniques. Her broad treatment experience allows her to approach each patient’s skin individually, considering their concerns, goals, skin type, and lifestyle when developing a personalized treatment plan.

Known for her warm and approachable personality, Darlene places a strong emphasis on patient education. She takes the time to explain treatments, set realistic expectations, and guide patients through appropriate pre- and post-treatment skincare. She also works closely with the medical team to help patients maintain and enhance their results with customized skincare regimens.

Before joining Avant Dermatology, Darlene built extensive experience in busy aesthetic practices and also owned and operated her own skincare business. These experiences helped develop her strong understanding of both advanced treatments and the importance of building genuine, long-term relationships with patients.

Darlene is passionate about continuing her education and staying current with advances in aesthetic medicine and skincare. She combines her technical knowledge, attention to detail, and genuine commitment to patient care to create a comfortable experience and results that help patients feel confident in their skin.
